Pa

This is my grandpa, Gene Olson. I was able to capture this photograph of him on Christmas Day in Rome, GA at the Culberson farm. He was the sweetest man you'll ever meet! He was a veteran of WWII. He worked on planes during that time and worked at a tv station, did production work, and taught Calculus. He was really smart guy! He went to heaven to be with Jesus and his wife, Dottie, on her birthday, March 18th.

Love you Pa!

Engagement

I was able to take my cousin's engagement photos!! I'm so excited for her and her fiance', Tucker. We did one session on my Grandmother's farm in Rome, Georgia, and then another session in Cleveland, TN. It was so much fun and I can't wait for their wedding in 2011!!

Every year for Christmas, the family goes to Mema's house in Rome, GA. It's one of my most favorite places to be, along with a GREAT location for photos. My grandmother lives on 50+ acres with various barns and open fields and even a large fishing pond. My favorite spot on the farm is a barn that is over 100 years old. Well, I convinced my sister and her husband to let me take some photos of them there. So.. as soon as we got to the farm, I made them jump out of the van and start posing! haha. It was sooo much fun. I also took some pictures of my cousin Selena and her boyfriend Tucker and my other cousin Kimberly. Those pictures will be up soon!

New Moon Premiere

Last night I was able to go to the New Moon Premiere. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! I had a blast. It was catered by Abuelo's and Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were there!!! Kristen's dress was sooo pretty. I loved it. She actually left it on the plane, so they had to go back to the airport, which delayed things quite a bit. It was still a ton of fun though! I was able to watch New Moon before it comes out this Friday! The premiere was at the Pinnacle at Turkey Creek! Yay! Here are some pictures that I took!

Photography

I'm a bit behind on my blogging... it's been super busy lately. I've had tons of fun with a lot of awesome people at various parks, including hanging out on some railroad tracks, visiting old barns and grist mills.

Wedding!

Hey Everyone! I shot a wedding this afternoon for a great couple that go to my church, Cary and Nancy. They are a great couple and have a wonderful family! I got to meet and hang out with everyone. I absolutely LOVE Cary's mother. Cary is Greek and his mom told all about going to Greece and now I HAVE to visit. The reception was at Lakeside Tavern and the food was fabulous. We had such a great time eating and dancing! I loved every minute! Here's a picture of the engagement photo (that I took) that they had people sign! What a great idea!
