New Moon Premiere

Last night I was able to go to the New Moon Premiere. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! I had a blast. It was catered by Abuelo's and Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were there!!! Kristen's dress was sooo pretty. I loved it. She actually left it on the plane, so they had to go back to the airport, which delayed things quite a bit. It was still a ton of fun though! I was able to watch New Moon before it comes out this Friday! The premiere was at the Pinnacle at Turkey Creek! Yay! Here are some pictures that I took!

I'm a bit behind on my blogging... it's been super busy lately. I've had tons of fun with a lot of awesome people at various parks, including hanging out on some railroad tracks, visiting old barns and grist mills.

Saving Little Hearts

Today I went to the Saving Little Hearts fundraiser at Sir Goony's in Farragut. It was soo much fun and raised money for a great cause!! Saving Little Hearts does great work for children with Congential Heart Defects and heart disease. Everyone had tons of fun playing putt-putt and some UT athletes were there! They gave away some awesome prizes including a photo shoot with with me!! I'm so excited to photograph the family that won! Check out Saving Little Hearts website, http://www.savinglittlehearts.com/. Wedding!

Hey Everyone! I shot a wedding this afternoon for a great couple that go to my church, Cary and Nancy. They are a great couple and have a wonderful family! I got to meet and hang out with everyone. I absolutely LOVE Cary's mother. Cary is Greek and his mom told all about going to Greece and now I HAVE to visit. The reception was at Lakeside Tavern and the food was fabulous. We had such a great time eating and dancing! I loved every minute! Here's a picture of the engagement photo (that I took) that they had people sign! What a great idea!

I attend the Knoxville Christian Center. It's an awesome church and we always have great events! This past Sunday night we had the "Autumn Cookout"! It was a lot of great fun! I had a funnel cake, cotton candy, and jousted my friend Crystal. I won!! haha. Here's a couple of pictures from the night!

life

I just got home from a night out with my mom. We went to Mangia for some delicious pizza and then saw the movie Julie and Julia. It was great! I got my new devotional in the mail today, Streams in the Desert by L.B. Cowman. I'm so excited to start reading it. So, here lately I've been kind of obsessed with the band NeedtoBreathe. They are Terrific. Amazing. Fabulous. I currently have their song "Garden" on repeat. The lyrics are beautiful. Check out the lyrics and song below.

I had a fabulous time photographing a family that attends the same church as I do. They just had a baby a little over a week ago! The baby was so tiny!!! I took photos of the newest addition to the family along with his older brother and sister. They are the cutest little kiddos. The photo shoot was on the same day as the first UT Football game, so we did a nice Orange and White theme for a couple of shots. (p.s. UT creamed Western Kentucky! GO VOLS!!!) I'll post some pictures soon!!

I had a great photo shoot on Sunday, August 30th at the UT Gardens. I met up with an old friend from High School, her husband and their adorable 4 kids. We had a great time! The kids were a lot of fun and LOVED the garden. Pictures to come!

Well, this evening I had an awesome photo shoot at The Cove in Farragut. I shot the prettiest family with 3 little kiddos and one Boston Terrier. It was a lot of fun. I'm about to start editing them, so I'll have some photos posted soon!

Introduction

Hi. Let me introduce myself. I am Zabrina. I love photography! I just started my photography business and am soooo excited! I decided to start a blog to let anyone and everyone know what I'm up to.

I guess I could start by telling you about myself. I am currently reading the Twilight series, which I hate to admit that I am loving. I work for a great non-profit organization, Progressive Media. I am the assistant manager/traffic manager of 2 amazing Christian Radio Stations, Faith 1240 AM and Victory 92.7/107.3FM. Obviously, I LOVE music.

I love Mexican and Italian food. I also love frozen yogurt and ice cream. And Dr. Pepper.

I have taken photos my whole life I think. My dad handed me his 1970s Canon SLR and I never stopped taking photos! I absolutely love everything about it. I miss the dark-room days, mixing chemicals, dodging and burning photos, but I suppose my digital darkroom is a pretty fun place to be also.

I'm very laid back and love to laugh.
